About

Sibu founded the fashion label Jaded Life and sub-brand Jaded Androgen in 2006 in Cape Town with an inspirational southern African sunbird logo, having studied at UCT, the city's Haute Couture School of Fashion and subsequently London's LCCA and UEL (BA Hons Fashion Design) prior to an MA in Fashion Entrepreneurship & Innovation at the London College of Fashion, UAL. JL relocated to London in 2011 having built on its fashion retailing and styling base in South Africa where Sibu had developed expertise in managing promotional events for such high-profile clients as Fish Eagle brandy and SAB Miller. Sibu, a Swazi-South African, has modelled in London Fashion Week being scouted as a teenager leading to residency in Paris, walking for Gaultier. He has fronted national ad campaigns from VW Beetle to Jameson's whiskey while presents interviews during London Fashion Week: notjustalabel.com/fashion-films. Expansion of the Jaded Life Collective social enterprise informs a long-term ambition to invest in South African education in nurturing aspiring designers through endowment of a fashion academy. @sibumuse / email: jadedlifestyles@gmail.com
